TOONATOR FOR HTML5

If the mountain will not come to Mahomet, Mahomet must go to the mountain.

I was very upset when I went to Toonator after January 12 and saw a message about the end of support for the flash instead of the brand new editor that we were promised. Well, I took the initiative into my own hands (and I'm not alone, there is M-Edit, too!) and made my own editor in HTML5 as a Chrome extension. I want to say right away that this is a rather buggy version: no colours, some troubles with copying frames, etc. But, I hope, thanks to your testing (I apologize in advance for the spoiled nerves), we will polish the editor to the smallest detail, and I can start implementing custom functions!

Okay, here is the download link:

About the future of the project:

To be honest, I have no further plans to develop the extension. The update with the palette was very buggy and overall awful. To fix it, I would have to rewrite most of the code (almost all of my editor's code is the original editor rewritten on HaXe, with all its problems and weaknesses), which made my hands drop.

But there is also good news! Right now I'm working on Toonio 2 (if anyone doesn't know, in February-June 2020 there was a site where you could draw cartoons, just like on the Toonator...) with huge improvements: starting from a completely redesigned editor with a bunch of useful features like layers and the ability to move parts of the drawing, ending with the feature to upload cartoons from YouTube and other services. The screenshot below shows the current version of the editor (the design is still under development!)

I'm actually glad you made the HTML5 thing, since now i can use my drawing pad on here again! :D

but thing is, it's still pretty difficult...we can't zoom in on the editor anymore, as well as the onion skin is w a y too light. Is there a way u can fix that? qwq
