Episode 1 Part 1 Explained:
Now that I'm awake, I guess I'll type out a couple of explanations on what this Part of Episode 1 implies and/or means.
The setting I chose for Yuki's childhood was essentially Japan (lol. I think I made it obvious with Chiyo's name). In Japan, there's a system where the children aren't taught how to be polite until their much older, so it's not a rarity for a student to be bullied at a young age (because they're just "kids being kids"). Children are without a filter, and adults often allow it. In Japanese culture, its normal for kids to tease. But there's also another thing that's normal within their culture: discrimination. I've read articles where people with natural brown hair were asked by their teachers to dye it black (often forced) or were seen as punks for having that color. And young children have a habit to call out people for being foreigners, calling them 'weird'.
I would agree with the notion that I'm using bullying cliche, but since I imagined her living in a rural area away from the cities, I could imagine the rarity of seeing foreigners. So yeh. Bullying explained.
Hmmm.... another explanation: I plan on cutting episodes into parts. And if I can guess how many parts will be in Episode 1, I think there's be around... seven? It all depends.
Hmmm.... but I think that's it. You can go ahead to look at my Reverse Folder at all the stuff I have gathered for this series, including the Preview and Character Sheets. Maybe I'll add more if someone askes me (spoiler-free) questions. Anyways, that's all.
Not so original type of story but makes me feel good its kind of differant then the others
